I say Pavlik! In my opinion the 3 most interesting aspects of Pavlik/Kessler are as follows. 1; Two of the best jabs in the business. Somebody will win the jabbing contest, and that guy controls the fight. 2; None of Pavlik's best wins came against technically sound, orthodox boxers. 3; No one has tested Kessler heart the way Pavlik would.
nobody's going to get their wish. mogens palle will make sure kessler defends his bogus belt because that belt will be used as a negotiating tool for a future shot at, hopefully, the taylor - froch winner. if that fight takes place.
Hopefully a top fighter, he may have trouble getting fights though, not exactly an easy guy to fight.:yep
he's not if he goes for bogus belts. might have something to do with taylor - froch being lined up at SM
Taylor. I say he unifies against Taylor when Taylor wins the WBC against Froch. Kessler only fights twice a year, so it's not like he's itching to get back in the ring.
Why do we continue to insist this guy fight cans and retreads with not much to offer. What has Lacy done to excite anyone...Why do you guys insist on the softest touches for this guy. How about a damn challenge how about Jermian Taylor or a similar opponent why not Tarver why not Glencoffee Johnson....why not Dawson why why why why while this guy goes around not stepping it up I will go watch real fighters like Pac Cotto, Marquez, Vazquez Pavlik, Abraham, boxing is starting to heat up with great matchups coming and legends like Pac taking it to the next level, who gives a damn about Kessler anymore anyway? and when is he going to make us give a damn. Im moving on I dont care what he does wake me up when he fight someone of note, later.
If Taylor beat Kessler, how would that change peoples perception of Taylor, Calzaghe, Kessler, and Pavlik?? Anyone want to weigh in?
True that. Also, rumor is Tarver is considering fighting Erdei and Dawson is fighting Diaconu. Pavlik has Rubio/Mora/Duddy and then Abraham.
Taylor for all his faults is still a world class boxer and athelete, with speed reflexes and power. He is legitemite. Now his dedication to the sport his desire to train and love of the sport of boxing are questionable. This guy beat a younger better version of Bhop twice. Better showing than Calzaghe. I think he is a legitemate test for a guy like Kessler of which there are many questions. Facing Taylor would show us where this guy is at currently.
Isn't Kessler suppose to fight Haussler next? Thats not a fight to get excited about. The guys I'd most like to see Kessler face are Taylor, Bute, or Pavlik if he moves up. If he picked up a belt a match with Pascal would be ok but only if the others couldn't get made.
