Dunno what people see in Malignaggi. Not a champion in my book, can't even throw a right hand properly. No weight transfer.

Too bad Herman was his usual tentative self. He did enough to win the decision but given the context in which the fight took place and the 3 US judges, a bias decision had to be expected.

Having followed Herman's career closely, I expected him to give Paulette (yeah, Paulette!) a run for his money.

Only people like Relentless, who proved again that he knows total fark all about boxing, predicted that Malignaggi would have "destroyed" Ngoudjo.

Guzman is better technically than Cotto, is far better defensively, he is quicker, better movement, timing and chin. Cotto hits harder and thats about all he does better.

I know how to score a fight just fine, Cotto gave away most the early rounds - Cotto lost 4 of the first 5 to Mosley and Cotto lost 3 of the last 4. Thats 7 rounds making it clear to Mosley.

Are you Puerto Rican? I seem to remember your a Cotto fan. Hes a top fighter for sure I just rate Guzman above him

Close fight but no robbery involved here.Paulie can't and Herman didn't.This fight belonged in this 500 seat ballroom.I think you can safely forget about these dudes getting "big paydays" from here on in unless they appear as "opponents" for bigger and better fighters.:good

    Gift Decision
    Gift Ring size
    Gift Refereeing

... and that "slip" should have been ruled a knock down IMO...

Right on. The judge was way more biased then in PBF-Hatton fight. I didn't think that was a knock down though.

    I had it 8-4, 116-112, Paulie Malinaggi.

In many rounds, Ngoudjo landed NOTHING worth talking about. Pauilies jab won him the fight handy as it turned out. Dont know why so many people are surprised with the scorecards, over the period of the fight, Herman landed VERY LITTLE.

I had Herman clearly winning the fight. Sure, Paulie landed some jabs, held Herman, and danced around, but I dont think that was enough.

Ya, he ladede punches (jabs), whch score points. Thats how boxing works mate. You dont get points or rounds for missing, even though you look aggressive.

Thats just the way it is and was

Guy Jutras a world renoun judje who's been judging quite alot of fight internationally including Las Vegas had it 117-112 Ngoudjo, and I quote "this was one of the worst decision I've seen in my career."

Clearly a steal, the home croud did not even look happy that Paulie won that fight cause they all knew he didn't
