I had it 115-113 Malignaggi. Close fight. I frankly dont care how big round 7 was for Herman or how much harder his shots are. There were enough rounds he just didnt land, and looked amateurish. The jab wasnt pretty, but a jabs a punch and when it lands it scores points. Period.
Didnt see the fight, but i havent read one article from a pro sports writer questioning the decision. bunch of arm chair quarterbacks in this thread, get over it.
Ngoudjo won that fight clearly What the **** did Malifaggi do all night? He was ok in the first few rounds where his fast hands made the difference, Ndoujo dominated the rest and landed every single meaningful shot in the fight Disgraceful
Yes he was hurt in round 7 I think it was Herman caught him with a good right, and his legs went. He hung on for dear life, and for some inexpicable reason Herman took his foot off the gas
I saw the bout 115-113 in favor of malignaggi, but i see how judges had it 116-112. ALso, though, there were a lot of close rounds. We are used to seeing Paulie shut out opponents. just because it was a closer fight, doesn't make it a losing fight. The 4th round slip WAS in fact a slip. he admitted to being buzzed in the 5th, so yeah, he was hurt. But he certainly landed a lot more and a lot more accurately. I think Ngoudjo outhustled him at times with less effective accuracy which does nothing but raise an eyebrow of a judge. I'm not saying Ngoudjo didn't get some rounds won, but I have Paulie by decision by 2rnds on the Manjanek scorecard, for what its worth.
Who gives a ****? I'm not in America, I've not seen the press, and the chances are they are sucking Paulie's dick I always watch fights on mute so as to not be influenced by the commentators. They happened to agree with my scorecard in the end It's not so much that Herman lost, but the fact he didn't get one card or even a draw on any, and one was so wide Disgraceful
