Ngoudjo is the one in that category who got, if not robbed, at least very unlucky in two f his last fights. Can you explain to me how the ref could be the issue on the judges scoring? Ngoudjo can box from distance but his inside game is very good too. I don't see what the ref could do to change that. Beside, you can be sure GYM (who are associated with Howard Grant) didn't hire Wright for this fight.

Very good matchup for ESPN 2. Good thread here. I side with those of you that say Ngoujdo is a bit too skilled for the wild Urango. My prediction is decision.

Just heard that Marlon « Long count» B. Wright will be in the ring to officiate the bout, Friday.

It's a tough job, but somebody have to do it......

Ngoudjo is not a killer but his power is good. Often, a boxer piles the ko's early in his career and his purcentage goes down as he faces better opposition. Ngoudjo has faced tough opposition very early in his career so he never had the 10 first easy fights to build an impressive ko %. He wanted big fights because members of his family are still in Cameroon and he wants to help them.

I like him a lot. He's very funny. At each press conference, he pretends to be mad at his opponent but he's not able to retain his laughs.

This could be one of the best fights of the year. I'm going with Herman by decision. Big ups to ESPN2 for getting this fight.

GYM promotion just announced that Yvon Michel, the Y and M of GYM, will replace Howard Grant in Ngoudjo's corner. Grant is suspended for having rushed Marlon B. Wright in the Bute-Andrade fight. It's a comeback for Michel in the corner. He has been the olympic trainer for years and was the coach of Éric Lucas. Otis Grant will also be in the corner. Herman speaks french, that surely played a role in the decision.
