Used his tools very well, but I still think Bones puts the hurt on him at this point. I think Hendo could give him fits in a 5-rounder as I think the h-bomb connects at least once. Overall I think he is the real deal and can give many people trouble at 205.

Side note: Florian's hair is the ****. I wonder how much is hair, and how much wax/gel/concrete.

I think he could beat Hendo using the same stick and move gameplan that he used against Silva. I don't think he will get past Jones if they ever meet. His reach will be nullified, and Jones would be able to drag it to the ground, where he would do what he does.

agree with jones, and agree with hendo in a 3-rounder...but in a 5 rounder, i think hendo's experience pulls himinto a trap at least once, which is all dan really needs

I think Gustafsson has what it takes to beat Bones. I think he has more one shot power, the jab to annoy him, and a very rounded submission game. I want him to face 2-3 more top opponents though.. Maybe: Bader, Griffin, Shogun/Machida.

Dan doesn't have the gas tank for a five rounder. Doesn't have the reach or jab to set up his big punches. Gustafson would keep him at the end of his jab. Not to mention the one area Dan has an advantage, wrestling, he has abandoned for the most part in recent years.

Gustafson could probably give Jones some problems standing up, but Jones would probably take him down fairly easily.

Yeah. No way Dan beats anyone in a five-rounder that he wouldn't in a three round. I mean the man was outlasted cardio ways by SHOGUN! Do you realise how bad your cardio has to be for that to happen?

Dan was dead in that fight half way through the third. If Shogun's cardio wasn't so typically awful coming off an injury he probably finishes Dan.

Dan died two rounds into his fight with Shields. I seem to remember him gassing against Rampage in a five rounder too.

1-2 in five round fights that go the distance. Could easily be 0-3.

If you think Guf can take the EPIC beatdown that Jake & Rua did before Dan gasses ...well good luck with that

I don't think he'll have to. He should be able to keep Dan away with his reach.

Er that's not what either of us said Stoo

We were responding to somebody saying they thought Guf would beat Henderson over three rounds but not five. If Guf is to lose to Henderson it'd be in the first three rounds not 4/5.

I think Dan will have to resort to his wrestling. Which to me means, if he doesn't end it quick, he'll gas.

I know, Im kinda backing up what you are saying. Im just adding he'll have too survive two rounds of hell before he can count on Hendo gassing. We dont really know how much Guf can take, he's just taken his 1st step into the B league of LHW's. He hasnt done enough to earn a fight with Hendo imo let alone be the favourite

Oh I agree. Hendo deserves his title shot and I'm happy he's getting it. And given how Silva was given Guf the frits I wouldn't fancy him getting out unscathed from those first two rounds.

People need to calm down judging by some of the comments Ive seen. He needs to beat Lil Nog,a Bader/Davis wrestler then 1 out of Shogun/Machida/Hendo to earn a shot

hendo is very very very smart with how he sets up his punches...he doesn't chase guys like silva just did...he makes you walk into his power and counters very well
