It is a good interview. Virgil looks a little slower mentally than he used to that is one thing I noticed. He looks old. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hzVI58oM0yI[/ame]

I hate it when these interviewers butt in all the time.

if anything he looks maybe a little sad. A lot of fighters look sad and tired after they quit boxing. The sport they love doing and what they were so good at and got credit for is behind them and they don't know exactly what to do next. You can see them tired because of lack of motivation or something like that. Virgil seems a little lost if anything. But he was a great fighter. Although I disagree with him saying he should have got the decision because he was champion against Hearns. Tommy won that fight 116-112 on the cards I seem to recall. Unananimous. But Virgil was great no doubt. I always thought Virgil was underrated. His amount of defenses and championship rounds is unheard of, and he won a title at 42. I think people underrate him because of his lack of power. He won fights with boxing skills and people want the knockouts and the machismo. Knockouts and machismo overrated fights. Virgil was underrated.

Virgil actually said you should get the nod in a close fight unless you're fighting a legend so he wasn't complaining, MAG.

He came across well and happy with how his career had panned out.

I know he said it, but he was looking at the interviewer in a sarcastic way like saying that is why Tommy got the nod because he was a legend.

Virgil Hill does not seem to have much anger or regrets like James Toney or other fighters seem to. He sort of accepts his career and even called Hearns a legend and said Jones was special. A class act.

I always liked Hill. Very, very good fighter who just missed out on beeing great. Nice to see that he isn't bitter like many fighters who quit boxing.
