Nice KO win for Bute, but he would still lose against Ward, Froch, B-Hops & Kessler

1- If you still bring the 20 second count with Andrade when you have all the infos on rules and footage to understand what happened, then you look like you willfully ignore facts.

2- A guy that follows boxing as much as you should know that by now, Bute did what he had to do to make fights with Froch happen in 2007, but Froch elected to forget the IBF eliminator fight and wait an extra 18 months before getting a shot at a belt.

You should also know that a deal was in place to make Bute vs Taylor in the summer of 2009 because all parties involved really thought Taylor would beat Froch.

You should also know that Bute had a signed deal to meet Pavlik in the summer of 2010 but Martinez beating him made HBO back out of it...

You should also recognize that Kessler was given a very decent deal to face Bute but never made a counter offer, not mentioning that he chose to face a righty instead of a southpaw in his come back fight. That said it all right there with his reluctance to meet Bute from the start...

You should also admit that Ken Hershman had no intention of inviting Bute in the S6 tournament from the start. He was quoted on that....

Bute and his team were always confident of him being the best at 168lbs, that's also a fact, whether we agree or not.

3- You truly underestimate his skills. Hopkins and Ward aren't better than him in that department, except Ward has more overall speed. We can debate the ring IQ part though, I have no problem, although you underestimate him there again.

I think that your last comment says it all when you talk about Bute : "He might meet an alcoholic in November, how typical".... Laughable opinion and quote at best, and I expect more knowledge and less obvious bias from someone directly involved around boxers......but then again if Teddy Atlas continuously does it, I shouldn't expect more from others either....

Just expect a little more display of factual research for a guy in his position. He can have the opinion he wants about Bute's skills but showing unwarranted bias against Bute is kinda weird coming from him...

I don't think this is gonna happen. Bute will fight Pavlik next, unless Pavlik looses his next fight. I think he will try to clean the division before going up to 175. I'm not saying that he will clean it, I'm just saying that this is the direction his management (GYM) is looking towards right now.

So unless Hopkins plans to come back to 168 or to fight until he's 48, it's not gonna happen.

Bute is decent, but lets find out in a years time how good he really is.Its ludicrous to just say what one poster said that he beats all four, including B-hop and stopping Kessler and Froch. That boxrec rating of Bute in the division is bollocks really.

Its not bullocks, its extremely possible....

Kessler went toe to toe with Calzaghe and was hurt with a left hook to the body.. He went life and death with Froch.... Bute easily end Kessler just with body punching....

Froch... he's hittable but he can hit..... Similar to Andrade..... Similar to Andrade, he will lose... And lose convincingly...

No need to wait a year when we know how good he is..... He crushed Kabary Salem, who 1 fight ago, took Calzaghe to the limit.... He had an easier time outboxing Bika than Calzaghe or Markus Beyer did.... Or Ward for that matter...
