Just because he is American doesn't make Arreola relevant, to anyone non American he is just another fat American bum of a heavyweight, who exactly has Arreola beaten? American HBO hype train heavyweight, his wins are awful and his competition has been awful.
You are right to some point. Sometimes you may have heart and will to fight, but you are too rocked by punches to continue the fight. It makes the difference. Adamek was knocked down by Briggs, by in his whole career he wasnt really badly hurt. This is exactly what I mean the chin is. Edit: Haye may have big heart, but not great chin at all.
Who is being bias? Haye moves in straight lines for the most part. Ruiz was walking him down with his jab and Haye would just pull straight back Haye averaged 12 ppr vs Valuev and looked gassed from round 2 on vs Ruiz Haye keeps his hands down the majority of the time, even in exchanges he doesn't bring his hands back up after punching. He's been hurt and dropped by CW's and even a former SMW He' cocks his punches, telegraphing them and rarely throws in combinations. All flaws and all things that leave plenty of oppertunity for Adamek. Saying Adamek is a basic average boxer is laughable.
I love how people ignore that Haye cannot fight inside at all. Ademek is not just a brawler the man has skills as you saw tonight....I think he takes it in what would a VERY interesting fight.
Reading isn't your strong point is it, try again, this time pay close attention to the "Hayes been down too" part.
Funny, my interpretation of chin was not getting ko'd by a headshot. Btw, what do you think of Muhammad Ali's chin?:think
He had a really great chin. Even in his last fight, when he was totally shot he took a lot of punishment. Tbh Ali is my all time favourite. We probably didnt even see the peak prime Ali 1967-1970
Well if the Klitschko negotiations don't go well I hope Adamek and Haye can get it on. Even though I'm a realistic Haye fan (Not a nuthugger, I know he's a huge dog vs the Klitschkos) and I believe he'll win I don't care because it will be a great fight and for Adamek to even get this far speaks volumes about the man.
You're right. Haye's domination of the heavyweight division is so pervasive that he doesn't even need to fight. He just has to talk. And rest. And have his manager talk for him. Then relax. And let his fans fight for him with their keyboards.
I'd favor Haye in this one too. Haye would have to box smartly though and forget about making it a show. He would stay outside, use long straight 1-2's and carefully pace his stamina by intentionally not trying to force a KO. Against Adamek Haye would be punished if he boxed in "spurts" like he did against a 38 year old Ruiz, pressing the action for one round and then taking a break the entire next round. Haye would have to be at 100% every round but he could pull it off, he proved that much even to a skeptic like myself. Haye W UD12.
