Jose Napoles- a great fighter from both offensive and defensive sides. Carlos Monzon- so technical and entertaining. Donald Curry- precise punches and power. Terry Norris- great combinations and through the roof accuracy. Mosley- prime or not still exciting and could use the jab more but has great body attack and handspeed Meldrick Taylor- good jab, footwork, and of course...never pulled punches Chavez- pressure fighter who was probably the best body puncher ever. RJJ- nuff said. this guy got me into boxing and in his prime could make a fool out of anyone. Pernell- wonderful defense and had an underated body attack Trinidad- Tito!!!! good combinations and never had a boring fight(except for maybe against DLH) Tyson- If ya disagree with him being on my list then he'll eat your children So much more but I'll end it here just to give others a fair chance to say more suggestions.
Gerry Penalosa: he's a walking boxing textbook in motion. Pernell Whitaker: The Wizard. Yuriorkis Gamboa: Much slicker Mike Tyson prototype. Roy Jones: The Supernatural Willie Pep: Another Wizard. Muhammad Ali: In his prime, the fastest heavyweight of all time. James Toney: The Shoulder Roll Specialist.
Some of my favorite current styles to watch are Donaire, Mosley, Gamboa, Toney, and Cunningham. I enjoy watching fluid styles.
Nice vidéo , Great boxer! I don't know much about Alexis . Did he was big for his weight class ? because the majority of his opponents in this vids seems a lot smaller then him!
Yeah, I also love watching cynical limiting of the pace/dirty clinching/constant rabbit punching for 15 rounds a pop.
I liked a prime Duran. The way he would set shots up, the brutal counterpunches, the speed , the accuracy. Short ,damaging punches. All done with a sneer or a maniacal glare.
