That was impressive. 38 y/o, has only fought a couple of times in like 6 or 7 years or however long it is, not having fought anyone with a pulse in all that time, and at a new weight. Adorno is a good fighter and was a risky opponent given all the aforementioned. He arguably beat Jermaine Ortiz and has mixed in good company. Walters looked surprisingly good. Shame he wasted so many of his prime years

One of the judges was fixing to rob Walters. Thieving git

Glad to see Walters display some of his old form.

That Walters was dominated by Loma at 130 is more of a testament to the latter's generational talent at that weight than an indictment of the hard-punching Jamaican.

Well done to Axeman. Wasn't overly aware he was still active? Should be a decent matchup there for him somewhere.

Walters was a good fighter and I don't like questioning a fighter's heart, but what kind of fighter quits after their first loss?

Seeing the "Axe man cometh back" at like 40 is insane. Then beating a decent guy two divisions away from his prime is even more insane :ibutt

I think it was a compound of factors. He had already not fought for nearly a year before stepping in with Loma. I do remember Walters having some disputes with either TR or his management.
So it makes sense that he disappeared for a while, considering how bad of a loss that was. Also, Walters struggled with injuries, that much is for certain. He was scheduled to make a comeback a few years back but it fell through because he got injured.
