Walters turned down 550k to fight Loma for 300k, now his career is over. People always say fighters should take the toughest fights all the time. But top rank has not given Walters any fights since the Loma loss. This is pretty sad since Walters is a very good fighter.

Walters could still be a good competitor in the divisions around him, no shame in losing to lomachenko

Walters was supposed to fight on the Crawford vs Indongo card, but he caught a cold or something and didn't fight. It's a shame Walters has disappeared off map after he lost to Lomachenko.

    Walters is over rated.

Top Rank can't even contact Walters at the moment because he's in a cave w/ Rigo on a hidden island.

Walters was a good fighter. Would like to see him back at it as I suspect he still could be, though obviously not quite to his very short lived peak of being a dangerous top guy at 126.

No shame, agreed. But quitting like he did, and considering he was seen as 'a destroyer', it's a hard comeback psychologically. Worse than being caught flush and KO'd...

Forget Nicholas Walters, I don’t mind him losing that can happen when your fighting top opposition but mentally capitulate like that and just quit when you wasn’t even taking a beating was a joke. His career looks finished.

TR is legally obligated to give Walters fights, and they have done so. Walters himself has had to pull out. (Back in August of last year, i believe)

He threw the fight and bet his purse on Chenko TKO-7.

The guy never threw a punch in that fight, and has been living on that "$300,000" minus taxes in two countries, for two years now. Could it be any more obvious?

    OK Lomasexuals, come hard.
