It's even funnier when someone scores it an MD or SD for a fighter. :D

I like to give out newspaper decisions, myself. :D

Most of them split technical draws.

That was an odd stoppage, but Batista needs to hang it up, he looked like he was on the verge of death in the last two rounds.

Poster CST80 often picks big underdogs. He is very often incorrect... If you pick the underdog every fight, of course you will be correct sometimes when almost everyone else is wrong. But his ability to predict fights, based on what he has typed on these forums, is very poor based on % correct.

Surprised that Walters isn't getting more credit on here from this performance...?

Marriaga was visibly a quality fighter himself who showed up to win and Walters out muscled him with skill and speed on display and he at times, especially late, showed some good defensive movement. Could have unloaded more right hands in the middle rounds and showed more head movement early in the fight but all in all a great showing from Walters. Not sure what there is to not like from it.

Time for Walters to move up and fight one of those Japanese kids.

Probably because he came over the limit, but yeah, over the limit or not he displayed improvements in his boxing IQ and skill, I was definitely impressed with that.

You forgot to mention, EXTRA WEIGHT.

    The dude pulled a Salido.

I had him winning but my score was much closer than the judges doled out.

I'd like to have seen a more level playing field.

Likely Why Walters didn't make weight and entered the ring a welterweight. I'd like to see him take those shots while being in the 130s

Nobody at that weight really comes I the 30' on fight night. Heck, the 130'shoulder come in high 140'school up to 150's.. that's going to take lots of power away from him. Walter's is a very strong dude buy his chin won't hold if he moves up. At 126, donaire literally had him out on his feet at the bell ending round 2. Very lucky it was the end of the round..

Walter's has much skills that he never gets credit for.. very solid champ
