Well, I haven't meticulously studied Walters. I do recall watching his fights however. When they are scheduled for a fight, I'll obviously be conjuring up a very precise prediction in my mind, considering nuances I have possibly overlooked.

I wrote 'very competitive' instead of 'competitive' for a reason, I think Walters will offer a decent fight, he has certain tools that will make for a relatively competitive affair, but I expect them to be mostly nullified. There's just no way someone with Walters' style and his inept footwork can beat Lomachenko.

My advice to Walters would be to try and strike early before Lomachenko establishes a rhythm.

He is big and strong for his size. Nothing fancy but he come forward behind a very good strong jab and high guard. His jab sets up his big shots and controls his distance. Lomenkenko can't punch.

I guess Lomachenko has to keep fighting Russell over and over until Russell rightfully wins, evidently.

Loma would defeat him easily ten times in a row then the 11th he would retire from a ruptured lumbar disk/prolasped colon and all the usual suspects would be vindicted because their guy finally got it right and the Universe would be in harmony.

I bet all of Loma's haters got erections when they first saw that suspension report. Guaranteed they were all hoping for a positive PED test.

It will happen. Just when more then if (unless they wait too long and one of them loses...ala the fiasco that was the Juan Manuel Lopez/Yuriorkis Gamboa build up)

It was an exhibition bout to showcase Vasyl. He needed to put on a show, give some rounds and amp it up gradually until the finale.
Anatoly also had Vasyl pull his punches in his pro debut, to get rounds in.
He's certainly not going to get Vasyl to ease up against Walters.

    I give Walters a 2% punchers chance. It's a mismatch honestly.

Excuse me but Salido didn't even make the weight. As well as the low blows and cleary bias officiating, Loma almost knocked him out in the last round.

    Bump.

Walters vs Sosa apparently revealed a less dangerous Walters who's punching power isn't as devastating at 130lbs.
I also heard he was robbed. A Sosa level fighter wouldn't have had any success against Lomachenko. Lomachenko would just create a youtube highlight clip worthy performance.

Whether this happens at 126 or 130, Lomachenko completely schools Walters. Probably a shutout win for Vasyl.
