Interesting fight since Walters was way too big for Donaire but Ball is a small feather. I feel like Nonito was not motivated though at 126 so I’ll favor Ball.
Now Ball beats him. Donaire is 41 and lost his last fight when he was walked down and busted up and featherweight isn't his best weight so I'd have Ball a big favourite.
Nonito Donaire was an ATG fighter, but was massively nerfed when he moved up in weight, he was decent at Super Bantamweight too, but at Featherweight, he just wasn’t elite, good enough to win a world title, but that’s it, all of his weapons like pushing the off and getting punches off and forcing them back would work and while he could box to a degree, it wasn’t his main game, he liked backing them up behind a jab, throwing combinations when they’re on the ropes, bullying them, it wouldn’t work against someone like Nick Ball, and he didn’t have the backfoot boxing ability to stay away from him, he wasn’t the best at getting out of the corner or spinning off, which he never needed to do at Bantamweight, he needed to at Featherweight at times and he didn’t, it’s why he lost fights there and Ball is great at closing the ring off.
