I fully agree on the negative aspect of the throwing of things. Tom Jones had to take Bras and knickers slung at him by the tonnage. ( some knickers obviously wet, and underwired bras back then could have your eye out) it's no joke when it comes to health and safety, squire...it really isn't.

I'm sure, Ball, his camp, will learn and improve from this. He's still fairly young, AND I'm sure we've still got the best of him to come. He's still got some rawness to hone out.

 To be fair to Rios' cornerman he has a good aim because the towel landed perfectly right around Ball's shoulders and neck

Yes, I hope so. I think the KOs will come quicker if he picks his shots more at times

Apparently Ball could be mandated to face Stephen Fulton next. Good fight. Not necessary something I want to see, but it would be interesting to see how Ball fares against a former champ like Fulton.

The featherweight division is one of the most exciting divisions in boxing. Just this year there was a lot of great fights and surprises: Ford-Kholmatov, Ford-Ball, Vargas-Ball, Lopez-Leo and some other fights.

I would love to see Ball versus Rafael Espinoza. Not only would it be a great contest, but also it would be quite funny given the height discrepancy.

Exhausted just watching that fight. Ball should be hooked up to a generator and he can solve the winter heating crisis whilst he trains each day. Free 'leccy for all!

Rios is a tough, tough man. To get back in that ring took massive cojones, glad his corner spared him any further punishment. TNT showed a different angle of the moment he was punched out of the ring and it looked particularly brutal. Fighting Nick Ball doesn't look like a fun thing to do.

Ball vs Fulton is a great fight, I hope it happens. Can I ask why it isn't something you wouldn't like to see? I think it would be a decent fight and Fulton would definitely be able to trouble him. I would be backing Ball all the way and would like to see how he deals with someone like Fulton. Also I've got a friend who thinks Fulton beats him so it's my turn to bet and win some money this time round!

I think Ball would give Inoue a very tough nights work at the very least.

Fulton is a very good fighter.

That Inoue made the kid look ordinary is more of a testament to the greatness of the former than an indictment of the latter.

Gotta love those Juan Marquez type uppercuts to the body and head.

Nick Ball is a classic example of improving immensely based off exposure.

How’s his run since being on the Fury vs Whyte card?

Absolutely unreal, it’s been a pleasure watching his career unfold.

Just finished watching Ball against Rios. Impressive performance and credit to Rios hanging in there. Ball is becoming one of my favorite current active fighters. Always so aggressive and exciting to watch. He seems to continue improving his game with each fight. He’s gonna be a tough cookie for anyone at 126, and that includes Inoue.

Fun to watch. Uppercutting bigger guys! I also like how when he transitions fluidly between orthodox and southpaw, and keeps throwing. Must be difficult for opponents to figure out where the attack is coming from.

I would rather see Ball against the other champions in the division at this point. Fulton is a very good fighter, who is very capable of beating Ball. However he has had only one fight at the weight, and I would like to see Fulton face another fellow contender before he gets a shot at a belt.
