I do think Inoue is a tad overrated but obviously he is a top fighter. One thing is for sure, he smashes Ball to absolute bits and pieces. I cant see how people are really picking Ball to win, its absolutely bonkers stuff. Typical Brit hype. Even guys like Fulton would beat the hell out of Ball.

Its worse tbh. Guerrero didn't stand a chance against Floyd but at least he was a genuine World class operator, 2 time weight world champion. Ball is not that.

Maybe the Warrington fight did him some long term damage if he is coming out with crap like that. He’ll probably be saying that Ball is the second coming of Barrera next. Also up there is Sky man Nelson saying Bellew is a better boxer than Uysk. Blithering idiot.

I said they were better, but definitely not immune to the hype nonsense! Frampton started really well, but maybe last night there were signs of him going native.

On Ball, the timing mat be more related to the football season than the featherweight division. If they want Inoue in England they must be hoping to fill A field or perhaps the new Everton stadium on the docks? Either way it would be easier to stage during the close season.

Pretty sure Ball is a Liverpool fan unfortunately, it would be interesting to see if he would go to the new Everton stadium. I would like to see him unify at featherweight, it's too early for the Inoue fight and it will be hard to come back from if he loses.

Yes that's fair comment and apologies for not quoting your post on TNT, I couldn't quite remember who had mentioned it. Frampton is a decent pundit so let's see if he sticks with TNT when the QP/DAZN shows start...

No worries, you were right that some of Frampton's comments in Liverpool on a potential Ball Inoue fight were looking like he'd been handed a script. Listened to the BBC podcast and ghe doubled down on it with Bunce later, he does sound genuine so who knows?

I don't think there's any chance of him sticking with TNT, their boxing page shows no future fights, what would he commentate on? I'm no longer a DAZN subscriber but I'm wondering if the Queensberry broadcast staff will be moved onto Dazn or if their existing guys will cover the Queenberry cards also? Does Frank want a distinct look and feel to his cards with his favoured cheerleaders in place or is he happy to have the same team that's been pushing Matchroom taking the strain?

Would he really decline the chance to fight at the new stadium? I may be overly cynical but I think most fighters would find a way to reconcile their team allegiences with the prospects of a big payout? I could see Everton's owners being really keen also to showcase that new ground and begin driving some non football earnings from it.

It is probably too early for Nick, but a few have said Ball's style won't age well and Inoue is an unusually big draw at this weight. The Saudis may be a factor also, looking for the biggest fights possible, especially when they can appeal to a more global audience. Myabe the opportunity is too good to miss? Also, if he loses then the line will be that Inoue is a generational talent and there's no shame to losing to the P4P etc etc. He can still likely have a good latter career with just that one loss.

You are right if Turki wants it it will happen but I was thinking more along the lines if he gets KO'd, Inoue is the type of fighter who retains a piece of his opponents soul. Hopefully it doesn't happen because Nick does not need Inoue at all there are plenty of fights and belts for him to win and money to be made, way to early in his career and he is in a much better position than Butler was who couldn't turn down the cash. Beside if he can pick up another belt then the fight gets even bigger.

don't rate ball at all and think nathaniel collins would give him all kinds of trouble and think thats why they have never spoke about that fight even when both signed with queensbury

Nick Ball is the number 1 featherweight in the world who's beaten Ray Ford and Vargas yet you 'don't rate him at all' lol

You must be scottish because I'm very sure Ball would pummel Nathaniel Collins all around the ring, there's levels.
