i dont know if this is news to anyone or wheather it is general knowledge to most but nick blackwell the english middleweight champ has a loss on his record. i thought he was unbeaten and im sure i saw his name the other day on boxrec and it said 7-0. The loss apparently came in malta, it says points but thats all. Anyone give me more info. As i said i appologise if this is not any kind of mystery and im just being stupid but i did think he was unbeaten.

blackwell fought for a while on the unlicensed circuit, it was in an interview in BN or BM, cant remember which.
So basically it should not be counted haha, he wasnt even near good enough for pro then, improved a lot since. It was like 6 months before he made his debut.
Would of thought it was unsanctioned, theres basically no laws there. His opponent was Steve Aquilina. People say Aquilina was never the same after Eubank thrashed him. Never seen it maself, nice guy though.
