Nick Blackwell Update??

No doubt his doctor told him not to fight or spar anymore. Incredibly stupid, he basically threw away his 2nd chance at life.

 

Dan Blackwell gave an interview to World Boxing News last month in which he revealed that Nick is still unable to walk but 'is making some small improvements'. Not much information, but the most recent news I could find. Thoughts, as ever, are with Nick and his family. A damn shame... But honestly he has no one to blame but himself, the guy he sparred with as well as the gym really ought to be shamed of themselves as well...

Magomed is in the same state that he will be in for the rest of his life now sadly, more or less vegetative, not being able to speak, walk and see much. A recent picture of him:

Praying for a miracle for Mago. The way Mago was treated during & after that fight by everyone concerned with the promotion was DEPLORABLE in my personal opinion. The very fact he was forced to hail a cab to take him to the emergeancy hospital proved how little anyone cared about him.

 

there should have been fines, lost licenses, and jail sentences.

 

That is not vegetative. Magomed is in a state of conscious awareness but has limited functionality.

More than likely he will never make a full recovery but he may regain more mobility and learn to walk again.

Michael Schumacher is probably in a similar condition.

Remember you said Peter was the massive favourite to beat Wlad and then Wlad 'clowned' Peter.
That transalted into you not being around when the fight happened on top of not ever seeing the fight. Why are you on a boxing forum when its obvious you know nothing about boxing?

Their very quiet about Schumacher. I think hes ****ed and exactly how he was after the accident...No one says his improving or anything. Closed doors still after this time imo means no improvement

 

The first fight ??Wlad done no clowning from what I remember. Infact he was all over the shop for most the fight
