No disagreement here buddy. :thumbsup Blackwel IS a slow starter. From 3rd on he was zeroing in with a anasty short right 'hookercut' - and it was this punch that started Ryders downfall. No complaints from Simms and Ryder - says it all. Even if Ryder had made it to the bell, the tide had turned,Nick had him figured out and there was only ever going to be one winner. Lot to work on for Team Blackwell - footwork, slipping & sliding inside etc..also how to land the left hook to the body against a southpaw - a very important skill. Onward and Upwards. (Regarding the commentary - I Think Sky commentary team were trying to make up for the Billli Godoy fight, when they slated Ryders performance very very harshly).:thumbsup
If that's the case why didn't he fight him when the opportunity was there? Eubank may beat him, but by no means does he have an easy night he'd a good job on his hands. Let's get it right, Eubank is a strong boy that looks to wear you down, thrown in with being flashy. Blackwell is a tough tough kid that will be in front of you all night with a good engine to bank. He'd give Eubank a fight.
