    No, man. He was very far along at that point and well past all the doctors' projections (by several months), living on borrowed time.

    Its strange, we love boxing and we follow the personalities, but the one thing we forget...... They are all just people at the end of the day. We call fighters quitters, warriors etc but there are a lot more to these guys than just the fighting aspect of the sport. You see from the videos, it is a brotherhood. Nick Charles really seemed like a great guy, RIP Nick
