Diaz and Miller nearly came to blows backstage following Saturday nightÂ’s “Strikeforce: Diaz vs. Noons 2″ event and had to be separated by Showtime officials.

According to a source who witnessed the scene, Diaz and Miller locked eyes while passing each other in the hallway between the dressing rooms and the pressroom as the post-event press conference took place. Words were exchanged, and Diaz allegedly threw a water bottle at Miller. The two were immediately broken up by members of their respective camps and Showtime officials.

This should be Diaz's next fight. Noons can get a couple of good wins and the final bout will make sense.

you know i think this is the REAL reason all this beef started check out this interview during nicks time in EliteXC. Millers trying to get some laughs by acting like hes not paying attention while diaz seems unusually talkative. you can just sense that diaz feels disrespected. flash forward a couple years To the nashville brawl with diaz throwing the first punch and i cant help but feel it was IN PART because of this interview.

Diaz is a total baby about EVERYTHING, how can anybody respect a grown man who acts like a spoiled brat EVERY chance he gets?

Yup 2 outstanding, young and well rounded fighters who never fight a boring fight that just so happen to hate each other with a passion. Through in the fact that 1 is a serious pothead and the other is a multi colored haired wacko and you got the formula for a crazy fight. Throw in a title it gets even better.

:thumbsup Exactly. Diaz has soooo many ****ing issues. Stop smoking weed. Stop acting so paranoid like the world wants to eat your ******* and just do your job. Myself personally i love Mayhem and his whole act. He understands the entertainment business. Diaz on the other hand is just a schizophrenic.

Diaz is a real punk. His out of the ring antics make MMA fighters look bad. It's too bad he's such a great fighter in the ring and such an insecure idiot out of it.

    Mayhem/Diaz must happen!

If I was Strikeforce I'd make it happen too, then the next day win or lose I'd cut Diaz. Diaz has done enough **** outside and inside the ring to warrant assault charges, Strikeforce doesn't need that kind of problem. Showtime CBS is on edge and very close to terminating its deal with Strikeforce if one more Diaz like problem happens on one of there stations. UFC won't pick him up the only place he can go is Japan. Sometimes you have to be hard (like the UFC has) to teach the rest of your fighters it unexceptable to act the way Diaz does.
