honestly though, Vargas vs some MMA guy at 168 lbs kind of makes business sense

An old fat as **** Vargas would still spark Nick in a boxing match. As would Jeff Lacy.

It is interesting. Diaz is the most bitter guy in MMA regarding money. He exaggerates. If he made $100k for Zarom and $50k for Noons and say $40k for Sakurai. Throw in a good $60k of sponsorship and appearances etc then $250k in a year can't be bad.

I think his bro might earn more so that frustrates him. In 09, Nate got 3 bonuses. On '10 he would have earned about $125k plus $60k bonus, not including sponsorship.

They probably earned the same but Nate is an okay contender on PPV and Nate is the champ on Showtime/CBS.

Eitherway, Diaz can earn good money every year doing what he does best. He is quite arrogant. He doesn't think he earns any money, forgot he got cut from the UFC, was doing weed leading up to the Gomi fight and moans about every loss and wants to fight different to the rules. He is just an unhappy guy.

Sounds like another case of "boxeritis" to me, seems like everytime we hear a MMA fighter talk up his boxing or consider a possible move across that fighter is heading for a fall.

Does this means he's going to stand with Paul Daley if they meet in the spring? Because THAT would be fun.

Is he still one of Andre Ward's sparring partners?

Why on earth is Ward wasting time sparring a guy like Diaz? What on earth can he get from that? Other than a body to beat up on?

i find it hard to imagine it being competative at all. maybe diaz is really tough and with big gloves and headgear he can really bring it.
