I'm honestly not lying when I say that if it was a straight up boxing match, I think I would **** him up.
i respect your opinion. However, in a fight, I think he would **** you up because he's a superior grappler with a proven track record
Those were about the worst hand skills ever. That dude should never talk crap and work mitts on camera! Hahaha!
whats his weight class 140-147-154? let him fight mayweather, pac, berto, alexander, bradley, koltenik, urango, khan, marquez, moralez, witter, maidana, ortiz, margarito, cintron, williams, angulo, the mo****a would get eaten up in there with each these mo****as that are each atleast 2 time champs
In a fight NHB Diaz would murder Floyd. Floyd would not fight Nick and would avoid him. I hope Nick call Floyd out
if he got in the ring with any one of those guys mentioned he wont make it pass the 1st round. maybe he would make it to the 2nd with urango if he runs from him long enough.
In a boxing ring, his skills look like ****. I mean, he looks BAD. I don't know what the level of skill they got where you live, but judging by his padwork, he is garbage. MMA is a different story, but even there I never seen him fight... Judging by his boxing "skills" though, he has GOT to be a good wrestler or some ****.
See, I always though a fight was where mother ****ers weren't scared to get hit. I mean, **** if you wanna call someone so scared for their life they have to grab on at all costs a great fighter, that's on you... But really, they just got good bouncing skills, cuz that's the **** you do to break up a fight. The fightin is when hands are flyin.
aight look man im a boxing fan myself. i like boxing more than MMA. but MMA is more real of fighting than boxing. boxing is more dangerous than MMA yea more punishment to the head for 3 knock downs, MULTIPLE punches comming at you at 1000PSI depending on weight classs for 12 rounds instead of 5 rounds and a quick ground and pound, choke, or crucifix ending the fight. but if 2 people were fighting for their lives and they could use no weapons but their body. FISTS ARE NOT THE ONLY THINGS THAT WILL BE USED there will be some thrashing. tackling, wrestling, choking to death, as well as punching and kneeing and kicking and elbows. boxing is one aspect of fighting.
Look... I'm gonna tell you what I saw... I saw Randy Couture and ESPN talkin all that **** about how Randy was gonna use his so called dirty boxin and whup James Toney's ass. So I was gettin hyped for a REAL fight... But what happened.... Couture went right for the wrastle like he was scared for his life... That's what bouncers do in clubs...you use wrasslin to break up the fight... Is it effective...of course....if wasn't effective, bouncers wouldn't be usin that ****...
this is really just arguing semantics. Sure, a "fight" may feature two parties swinging and people getting hit, but for me, the thing that separates a boxing match from a fight, is that, in a fight each practitioner is not limited in the techniques that they can call into action with the exception of weapons. For example, throws, kicks and locks would be fair in a "fight", one party would not be in reasonable ground to pause during a fight, and complain of the other that they illegally threw a head kick, or that they did not release from the clinch before punching. I mean, if Nick Diaz tackled Floyd and punched him out, is that really not a fight? Even though hands flew? edit: onto the James Toney point. Randy Couture could have beaten Toney into a bloody pulp with flying hands while straddling him and there would've been no doubt that fight was ensuing, albeit one sided. Randy choking out Toney should be considered pretty merciful. iirc, both guys were actually prepared for alot of grappling. Toney claimed he was training alot of wrestling for it and in the countdown show Randy explicitly said that Toney's boxing wouldn't be enough and that he would look to take down Toney where he was advantageous.
Diaz would take Mayweather down easily and submitt him with even more ease. Anyone who believes otherwise are the same idiots who picked Toney to beat Couture.
boxing ONLY fans are truly stupid. They say "look at his boxing it sucks" no **** sherlock! They are NOT boxers, they have to practice ALOT of other things. The thing I don't understand is, in MMA the boxers can use boxing and the BJJ guy can use bjj so NOBODY has the advantage, thats way its called "MIXED" martial arts. So why NOT meet in a sport where no-one has the advantage.
