Nick Diaz meeting with Dana White today

Diaz beat GSP! Stylistically he's all wrong for GSP...although the wrestling of GSP could pose some problems for Nick. I think Nick keeps it standing and he takes George apart with his strikes.

 

Not really. There's no bigger fight for him than GSP. With the right deal he could probably earn more in one night than he would for an entire year's worth of title defenses in strikeforce. And everyone gets outwrestled by GSP. What would be embrassing if a decent but not great wrestler like Woodley derailed the Diaz hype train.

 

Woodley ? That guy isnt anything special. Strikeforce just freaks out and says the same **** oh so athletic, such a great athlete for the obvious reason. As a fighter whats he even done to deserve a title shot ? Woodley has beat no notable opponets and 2 of his last 3 you could argue where loses.

 

I thought so to. I thought they would style it out a bit.

 

Any chance GSP can fight somewhere ****ing else, please? Just a minor annoyance.

Diaz'll take it. He's said himself, it's all about money. Dana will offer him more than enough to get him to sign for this, but this is the first step in the total consuming of Strikeforce.

 

Good... the 2 best WWs in MMA going at it for 5 rds (unless GSP gets TKO`d)... it should be great.

Diaz has the better standup, GSP has the better wrestling, Diaz is amazing off his back & GSP is amazing from the top.

GSP will be favourite due to the takedown factor but either way this will be the fight that Diaz proves to any doubters he is the real deal & should be included in the p4p discussions.
