:huh Are his boxing skills any good? http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2009/8/13/987884/nick-diaz-signs-professional
:rofl:rofl:rofl Sorry, I just thought of Nick Diaz vs B-Hop. He REALLY needs to stop smoking weed, his brain is fried if he thinks he can compete at a high level in boxing
Oh No!atsch His boxing skills are no where near good enough to hold his own with even average boxers.
Well he did already defeat a 7-4 fighter who went the distance with Andre Dirrell and apparently won a round agianst him.
Diaz is a horrible boxer. I wouldn't even go so far as to call anything he does "boxing." He just swings his long arms around like he's a marionette on strings.
Beyond him having only about a third of what a top boxer needs skill wise, does he not realize that the same commisions run boxing and mma? He still will be suspended for refusing a drug test. People say he has good boxing beacause he throws shots in combinations that actually flow, beyond that it really is not all it's made out to be even for mma or an mma fighter. To have any real success he is also going to have to go back down in weight to at least 155, well 154 in boxing, so he at least has a reach advantage; he needs something. He also lacks power for anything higher than 154, probably doesn't even have the power for that; I mean he is one weightclass below Pavlik and Abraham; that's how hugely behind he is power wise.
this is the best news i have had since bisping got laid out i have always wanted this guy to go into boxing since i heard some outrageous comments from the strikeforce commentators, the guys boxing is extremely poor and his chin is ok but having a good chin in boxing is actually very bad for the long term brain poblems but if he smokes dope all day im sure he wont give a **** about losing more brain cells
