I was impressed by Zaromskis' striking & speed but certainly not by his dodging abilities...MOVE YOUR HEAD... Diaz was much slower and yet had no problems landing his punches because the other guy had no head movements...

And if you know that you suck in the "bob & weave" department..At least try something else ! Take your opponent on the ground , try to submit him and avoid the striking confrontations..

Take him to the ground ? Are you insane ? I just know Marius Zamaroskis wanted to take Nick Diaz to the ground. It would have been armbar quicker then you can say armbar.

He's supposed to be the better striker but he had no head movements...I know he's no bjj wiz but at least he could've stalled the fight a bit to last in the 2nd round & regain his composure.

If he takes the fight to the ground hes going to be in Diaz's guard even if the takedown leads to side control for example Diaz would shrimp his hips and regain guard. The top guy in guard can stall but theres a better chance of the bottom guy being able to do it. Diaz is to active he would manuever himself into taking Zamaroskis back, sweep, go for submissions and if Zamaroskis defends hes going to wanna standup out of danger. Obviously if he takes it down he doesnt get punched in the face non stop but hes still going to have Diaz working and working on his ass.

Probably so...Still , he had to try something else..What a disappointment that was.

Might sound stupid but I think it got to a point where Marius knew he was on his way to being finished. I would have went to my bread and butter and thats his high kick it was his only chance its basically a hailmary at that point but go for it.

i think Zaro had the plan right but didnt execute. basically just go crazy on him, he had nick hurt for the first time i've seen him hurt in a long while but just couldnt finish him when diaz went in turtle. i also feel like nick diaz has peaked and he just couldnt miss tonight.

I read on Wiki he may defend his title March 22nd in Dream agianst Kiyoshi Tamura which I find odd considering Tamura's age and he seems a lot bigger then 170.

Diaz is simply the man. One of the most mentally tough fighters in the world, both he and his brother. Nick is the better of the two, though.

You don't take a guy like Nick Diaz down to the ground to try and stall the fight. It would have been over quicker if it went to the ground and stayed there.

Exactly Diaz isnt the kinda guy who is only great on top he is so slick off his back he will roll for kneebars or armbars hes amazing on the ground better there then on his feet where he wins most of his fights.
