Or because it actually is better. Why do you think every new organization is going to it? The only reasons the ring was used for MMA were 1 Tradition/Lack of alternatives 2 Connection to pro wrestling 3 Connection to Boxing
I don't hate the cage, I just think that for a fighter and ALOT of them that are not wrestling base, like the ring better. I think it is more astetically pleasing and more of a free eviornment. The cage to me makes it look more brutal and barbaric then it needs to be. The ring I agreestops action sometimes but I'll trust the fighters over the fans anytime.
Obviously I'm not just refering to Nick Diazatsch I've heard Bas, CroCop, Fedor, a bunch of other guys I can't think of now but one thing most have in common is they are mostly non-American fighters. I believe also most if not all would be non wrestler based.
Spectacular; there are also many fighters that like the cage. Unless your point is that every fighter wants to fight in a cage, I fail to see how your "trusting the fighters" quote shows anything.
Jesus your just plain wrong. In recent interviews, Fedor stated the ring vs. cage debate is overrated and there isn't a huge difference while Shogun and Cro Crop stated that the cage just takes getting used to.
you UFC nutlickers are amazing. Of course you have to get used to it, its different! That doesn't mean that its better.
Listen I don't really care what they use I like to see fighters use skill to win fights, not to use a cage thats all.
cages benefit wrestlers, rings benefit everyone else haha well maybe not that simple but cages give wrestlers advantages at this point in MMA's evolution.
So Strikeforce, Bellator, Dream, and basically every MMA organization are "UFC nutlickers eh?" You sure love your homosexual phrases. Also, you are right, no skill ever takes place in a cage. The only way for skill to exist is to have a bunch of Japanese men slapping you and touching your balls. This is a well known fact; if you aren't being molested by Japanese officials, you can't have skill.
you probably whined about the Rashad Vs. Rampage match too. You just don't get what I'm saying. Do you really think that I don't know that restarts and falling thru the ropes and getting tangled inthe ropes and etc, etc is a pain in the ass. I just think it doesn't give anyone an advantage.
Doesn't mean its worse either! but yeah just go ahead living in your little fantasy world where every fighter is Nick Diaz.
