That or because I wasn't here, one of the two.

Do you deny that was clearly not fair?

Do you deny the proper result would have taken place in a cage, rather than daylight robbery in a ring?

As far as I am concerned, all wrestlers in MMA can go and sod off and die you are ruining the sport by making it so boring to watch.

I reckon cage fighting rules are designed to give the Americans an advantage. what the hell is it with this gay sport of Greco-Roman wrestling that only America does. that is so boring that it never appears on any TV channel.

Nick Diaz is bang on the money, particularly when he says because of no elbows you have to make space to punch and that give space for your opponent to escape. And saying that martial arts competition has been going on for hundreds of years and people know what works, and the pride and K-1 fights are fantastic to watch because of it.

People who disagree with this in two categories. The first is people who have only ever seen cage fighting and the novelty of watching one guy laying on another tapping his head with an elbow has not worn off.

And there will always be trainspotters.

The fact that you think something called greco-roman wrestling is something that only americans do (wtf) is very troubling and like 5 types of ******ed.

The cage doesn't necessarily help wrestlers. I believe the cage is bigger and more circular. It also allows guys to use the fence to stand up. It bodes well for a striker like Chuck.

Only thing I like about the cage is it prevents all those restarts but besides that I cant stand it. The words Cage Fighting IMO sound barbaric and make our sport get unfair criticism. I think the Ring provides for a more epic feel to the fights although I think Japan has alot to do with that. I dont like to see guys wall walk there way back to their feet or push off for a reversal. It just annoys me to see some guy use it to get out of a bad postion instead of using real technique.

Knees to the head on the ground need to be added to the unified rules

It will give wrestlers a huge tool to finish fights.. and give guys on the ground a really great reason to get the **** up.

The 3 roped ring was designed as a striking ground. Even that had to be modified to a 4 rope ring to help keep strikers in the ring. Grappling has no place in a ring.

Maybe this is why people like the ring; it reminds them of their other interests
