So being a magnetic douche is something that makes you a fan? I don't get it.

I never said he wasn't a good fighter, just that he is a immature little twerp.
adversity, like being 10 to 15 lbs heavier then your opponent? Or how he supposedly has boxing skills but gets the **** cut out of him ever fight hes in because he can only block punches with his face?

His potential is limited by his arrogance and cockiness.

So being a douchebag somehow makes you cool? hmmmm I don't know, I don't get it.

I'm as big a Diaz fan as any but he struggled. He could barely muster a takedown when he tried and he wasn't up against a world-beater. Corbbrey fought the whole fight going backwards and Nick just didn't seem interested in not carrying the bum 3 rounds. He oughta kindly thank the ref for stopping the fight. Even with a full mount Nick wasn't inflicting the kind of punishment necessary to call the fight. He was throwing listless shots that Corbbrey could have easily withstood for the remainder of the bout. Diaz has a tendency to fight up to - or should I say down to - the level of his competition. Hopefully that's what he exhibited in that fight, otherwise things won't look too good for him against UFC-related opponents.

Dude, I'm a fan of him because he's a good fighter and he somehow manages to balance just enough douchebaggery with just enough charisma to make him intriguing. It's a very rare yet sought after combination. Bisping is a douchebag and I hate his guts. Kenny "K-Flo" Florian is a douchebag and I hate his guts, too. I wanted to ****in' murder him when he announced that his usually illegally-thrown elbows will now be known as "hell-bows." Some people have "it" and some people dont. Diaz has "it." n/h. He loves to fight (usually to his dismay), you can't hate that.

    True. See above.

This is another reason why you can't hate him. He's reckless yet things usually work out in his favor. He takes this in stride. He never blames a performance on cuts. He's willing to soldier on w/ tributaries of blood streaming from his face. How can you not love that?

Maybe. Time will tell. More discipline would make him more effective but it just wouldn't be Nick Diaz.

It doesn't make him cool. It's just one of the many things that when viewed as a composite lend to his appeal.

The only news I want to hear about this shitty little pothead is a) him getting brutally KOed, b) him getting stretched out in some agonizing sub, c) him retiring, or d) him giving Mike Aina a rematch (and then getting brutally KOed or subbed)

Hate to break it to you but a)hes got a very good chin, b)we all know hes a blackbelt under Cesar Gracie so him getting submitted violently probablly wont happen, c)he is 24 retiring probablly isnt in his future then d)we may see a Aina rematch someday but by then Diaz will actually take him seriously and dominate him. Diaz is one of my favorites but I will admitt he kinda does need a real good ass kicking but KJ aint the guy too do it. KJ showed his lack of composure last night and Diaz has gotten to him mentally.

I have mixed feelings concerning what transpired, with Nick Diaz last night.

I'm a fan of Diaz (I can't resist a guy with good boxing and good jui-jitsu), but he does act like a punk sometimes. The taunting during his bout was unnecessary, and his behavior after KJ Noons spectacular performance was downright disgraceful. But then again, the fans in Hawaii were already booing the man when he entered the building (not sure why).

Either way, I can't wait for the Noons-Diaz rematch. The table has been set for a very good fight.

Where does this good boxing **** come from? Everytime I see him fight his face blocks more shots then his gloves. He may have a boxing record but I don't see him being a very good boxer.

we booed him cause aina got robbed the last time diaz was here, turns out we were right when he decided to start flipping us (the crowds) off after the altercation in the cage, just for the record i would like to say his brother nate is a *****, the second the fight erupted he was the first to turn around and RUN out of the cage, that little ***** is supposed to be a professional fighter, little ***** ran away from a 50 year old retired kick boxer

His standup is nonsense. His had 1 boxing match i believe and was nothing special at all not even journeyman status. Watch his fight with Gomi. The kid doesnt even know how to slip a punch and blocks most of them with his face. **** Nick Diaz.

Good boxer? Diaz's face is like a heavybag.

I didn't see his last fight. But Diaz was very lucky to get a decision against Mike Aina, who is a no one. Diaz was getting whooped by Noons until the fight was stopped from a cut, and he threw a hissy fit. If he wasn't impressive in his last fight, when TF is the last time he was impressive.

He looked alright vs Cobbrey but he obviously didnt train seriously being EIGHT ibs over. He looked real strong in his bout in Dream last month.

He's got about 1/3 of it right, he lands at a pretty good percentage and puts shots together, but he has no defense or power.
