Nick Webb gets KO'd again - his career is over

I thought it was a strange fight for Webb to take. Sokolowski is a hell of a lot better than his record suggests.

 

Just read that Skeete got KOed again tonight, haven't seen it but was it a bad one?

 

He was wobbled badly and never really recovered . Had sense to hang on but was still taking shots. Sensible stoppage for me. Skeete virtually out on his feet but not quite

 

put him in with pricey

Not shocking in the slightest. Kamil is WAAAAAAY better than his record suggests.

 

I'd rather see Sokolowski/Price II. Price loses that one lol. Webb he KO's

Crazy how things can change so quickly. A lot of people a couple years back tipped Skeete to beat Khan. Any version of Amir stops Skeete in one round.

Sokolowski is a dangerous boxer but it’s time for Webb to hang them up. If you’re getting starched by Allen and Sok, you’re not making money from this sport.

I think Skeete hit the wall though. He's was above losing to someone like this. This guy had 4 KO's in 16 wins prior to this. Skeete is definitely shot.

 

Skeete looks weight drained to me too. At 31, it looks like it is bad for his health to still be draining himself down to WW. He either needs to hang them up or go up in weight to super welter or light middle. I am not sure how much of his recent issues are down to being shot and how much are down to his body being in starvation mode and him no longer being strong enough to fight.

 

As has been said, strange fight for Webb to take coming off the recent loss to Dave Allen..... Sokolowski is much better than his record would have you think. Allen also tweeted that he told Webb not to take this fight.

Webb can still be involved in some fun fights at domestic level though. He has power but is vulnerable. Perhaps see a bout between him and Price.

 

it wouldn't do any harm if warren signed Sokolowski try and rebuild his career, it wont be hugely successful but could have some decent fights and could help fill up a card
