He’s a massive loser and an absolute nobody. I don’t like Coldwell but it’s clear he’s not bothered what this fatty has said and no one of any note is taking any notice of it.
I don’t really have any strong feelings on the allegations either way, these who have spoken out I can’t comment on their credibility and no one with any real authority in boxing has commented on them, though I would agree Coldwell is a strange man
Looks like it mate, he was on telly the other week coaching Derek Chisora earning 6 figures for the privilege. I’ve not heard of him doing anything illegal - alright it sounds weird as **** but no one has accused him of a crime unless I’m missing something? If there were any weight behind any of these allegation he’d have been at least questioned.
100% However, the allegations involves children. If someone accuses me of noncing, or things that might come across as noncing, I'd move heaven and earth to prove my innocence. If someone falsely accuses me of something like that there'd be hell to pay. This is huge.
Yeah he could sue those guys, their faces were in the video, if he cared that much. That leads me to believe there are some truth to the allegations made. Maybe exaggerated a little bit, I'm not sure, but if he didn't do anything they said, he would have denied it already / sued them for false accusations. Like one of the videos they posted as evidence of Coldwell being a bully was when he was swearing at this teenage kid on Instagram live. They conveniently didn't mention that the guy he was swearing at was saying things about his teenage daughter for example.
Legally he’s not done anything wrong. But I believe those guys , why would you make that up ?? I believe they’re also well known in boxing circles. to me it sounded like Caldwells behaviour was very suspect and on the periphery... sounds like it could have escalated. If I heard that about my coach years later I’d leave if I thought it was true.
One of them boxed for the English title in the pros, another boxed in the final in the junior ABA's. The gym stories have been about for years. I know the guy who had his tooth knocked out and have spoken to him about it.
There’s one thing about having a tooth knocked out and another about him switching the heating on and having you prance around in your undies.
Hear the odd whisper about it around my village (I live in the same one as Coldwell) but on the whole people don't really care anymore.
Makes sense since it wasn't taken any further I guess. I'd be surprised if he or his children were never confronted about the video.
Everyone in the area thinks Coldwell is a smug little wanker anyway so he doesn't really have a reputation to ruin
