    Can you think of any more antiquated nicknames that would look out of place in the modern fight game?

    sugar ray clay jones jnr is just plain ridiculous.

    Buchanan's Sugar Poo was obviously registered during a drunken bender.

    SOG is cringeworthy, belongs in something crap like wrestling. "white tyson" similarly, surely noone uses that tag these days, especially since they are always set to fall a country mile short of the expectations demanded of it... before they even begin a pro career.

    That was definitely one I was thinking of. Race-based and racist nicknames are off limits now - thankfully.

    You don't see 'Kid' used much these days - Kid McCoy, Kid Chocolate, Kid Gavilan, etc.
