Who cares? He got his title off a shite Scot, then lost it to a mediocre opponent in his next fight. He got beaten up by a non-punching yank too.
Have u ever watched Steve Leuvano other than the Cook massacre?? HEs a world class boxer not no non-punching yank, a top operator and cook showed balls staying in there for so long. HE lost his title to a big punching Puerto Rican who is undefeated, u havnt watched his previous fights either i bet so u shudnt be calling him mediocre
JuanMa didn't look great against Lontchi, and although Luevano is easy to get involved in a minor tear-up, I think (if he can keep disciplined) he can outmanouever (spelling?) the one-paced JuanMa.
I have watched Luevano many times and, slick boxer he may be, dangerous puncher he is not. He's got world-class skills, but nothing more than a passable punch. Roman Martinez is a respectable puncher, but nothing titanic. He was 19-0 with a middling resume till that point. He is the definition of mediocre - Mitchell will beat him, same as he'd beat Cook. I have seen about five of his fights, including the defence he made after beating Cook silly. You really don't do the fighters you support any favours. You made excuses for Moore, now you're making out that Cook's only lost to the absolute best. He hasn't. He's Euro level and there he shall stay.
Be honest with yourself now... Did the words beaten by the best get entered here on my keyboard? Clearly i entered in that Roman MArtinez is not mediocre and that will be proven, Mitchell is wank Carl Johanssen should of had him out really lets be honest. Leuvano obviously isnt a soft puncher as your making out, Nicky Cooks jaw isnt that bad to knock him down countless times and if he was a soft puncher he would of been dethroned now and not preparing for a fight with the Numero Uno of the division. JuanMa.
Luevano's another moderate puncher, but nothing special at all. He's a solid guy, but the damage he was doing to Cook was staggering. Wait, let me guess - Nicky was done at the weight? Lopez is interested in Luevano for the precise reasons I've stated as shocking when he beat Cook: he's no big puncher, he's a good name, and will allow Lopez to unify and get his confidence back after his two round torment at Mtgawa's hands in the closing portion of their bout. What would Mtgawa have done to Cook?
