there was rumours of a comeback but nothing happened. cannot see anything happening now its been so long and he was never a mega star so hes hardly missed.

nicky cook was a good honest pro, did things the traditional way winning the commonwealth, british and european titles before a world title. he never got the respect he deserved.

 

I liked Nicky Cook, did it his own way and was a decent fighter at domestic and European level...:yep

If he has retired then I hope that whatever he does post boxing he is happy and succesful...:good

 

he runs a company that does extreme fitness holidays in Tenerife.

 

Sounds good, I guess where lots of fighters have training camps...:yep

 

I hope the business is doing well and he feels no need to make a comeback - he has nothing left to prove. Good servant to the game was Cook, only lost to very good fighters.

 

his website says hes fighting in sep/oct...but i dont know how long its had that on it...it could have been from last year even...

 

Was a good fighter who had a great career. Still think he had the beating of martinez in that last fight though

 

There is absolutely no shame losing to Martinez or Leuvano...good luck to Nicky in whatever he does.

 

He's **** no one cares.

spoke to a pal, he's back from teneriffe, ticking over in the gym not sure if he's coming back,app waiting to see if they put on a s/f prizefighter 2 take part, other than that dont think we'll see him back in the ring............. just heard his back in training looking 2 b out end of september
