I hope these three are watching tonight's showdown somewhere, they'd probably have to take back their comments about there not really being anybody around at 160lbs. I look forward to another great fight. The first time they clashed, not a great deal was to be expected, but we got one of the best fights of 2009. I expect more of the same. Anyone here think Pacquao is capable of moving up to 160lbs and taking on either of these two?
I fancy Pacquiao to beat them both at 154 or under but if it's a middleweight fight, that added weight could be too much. I can't see how Pacquiao can realistically get to above 150lbs, without losing a lot of speed and he needs to retain that speed to beat either. If he stays under 150lbs, he may be too light and if he goes over it, he may be too sluggish. I'd pick Pacquiao at or under 154lbs though.
A possibly washed up 150 pound at the weigh in Margarito, almost decked Pacquiao with a body shot, Williams or Martinez at a 154 weigh in, would be way too much. I suspect Williams at 147 would also win because stylistically he is terrible for Pac. Pac could probably beat Martinez at 147 because Martinez would be so weight drained.
I fancy Pac's chances against Williams, but not Martinez at all. Also, did you really expect expert punditry and insight from those three clowns, Addie? I usually skip much of what they say since I find it is usually dross. Am I mistaken?
I was surprised to hear their comments about the Middleweight division. They are typically ****, true, but I didn't think they'd forget about fighters of the caliber of Martinez and Wlliams. They were implying Manny could go up to 160lbs and be the man there with relative ease.
