This could potentially be the fight of the year, that unfortunately no one has heard about or cares about. But regardless its got all the ingredients to make one hell of a brutal match. Both fighters don't know how to take a step backward, Ruben has but one lost, a match in which he was down twice to recent Burns victim Di Rocco, but he bounced back in a vicious battle against Lenny Daws. Nicolas is thus far somewhat unproven at the top level, although he was the first man to stop Steven Jamoye, the younger but bigger brother of Stephane, with a horrific body shot, something top Spanish Light Welterweight Sandor Martin failed to accomplish one match before.

Nicolas basically fights like a Light Welterweight version of David Lemieux, and Nieto fights like a Light Welterweight version of Martin Murray, with less holding.

So for as long as either Nieto or Gonzalez' chins hold up this one could prove to be quite the domestic slobberknocker. And they both hail from Madrid, so they'll probably fight twice as hard in a battle for hometown supremacy.

So Who Takes The Guerra De Madrid?
