it was the biggest duck job iv actually ever seen

first he says ' i aint doing 126' loma says ' no problem il move up in weight'

he then gets offered a 3x career high payday and says ' not enough money i want more' loma says basically ' no problem winner takes all'

he then just says no , he is a disgrace to the sport

and he knows he would get seriously outclassed, lomachenko is levels above him and he doesnt want to be made a fool of

i think arum will get rid of him after this

whats the point of having a boxer signed with you when he wont even accept a 3x career high payday to be involved in a great fight. walters should be on his feet thanking arum for making him who he is

he has low level skills and he has mad his name out of being at smallest a light welterweight who does one of the biggest draining jobs in history to make 126 and the arum feeds him post prime or shot flyweights who are big names and he suddenly thinks he is the man. arum must be raging after all his done for wlaters

Walters should have fought Loma. It was a 60/40 split wasn't it?

yup, walters got the bigger split (even though he has no title and he got his way and loma agreed to move up in weight) loma also offered to pay walters 300k out of his own purse if walters won and walters didnt have to pay loma an extra penny if loma won

that would have made it id say roughly an 80-20 split if walters won. its a complete duck job because walters knows he would get badly outclassed against lomachenko

Yup. I used to be a fan of his but this was farcical. 'Duck' is used way too often but I can't think of a more egregious example tbh.

Arum said Walters' purse would've been $550,000 and Loma's $850,000 but Loma, who is a world champion at 126 offered to come up to 130 for the fight even though Walters is beltless which obviously is to the much naturally bigger Walters' advantage, also offered to give Walters $300,000 of his purse if he beat him. Loma was supposedly ducking Walters, doe. :patsch

Its dawned on De Axemon that if he's not feasting on runty little shot to **** Bantamweights, he's just an average fighter. Can't wait for one the monsters at SFW to steamroll his ass, he loses to Uchiyama, Vargas, Pedraza, Miura maybe even Salido, Corrales, Berchelt and Martinez, he's a b****.

People used to laugh when I told them that Walters was ducking Lomachenko. He had been doing it for a long time.

That's a lot of money to turn down. I understand why Walters stood still about this fight but **** it. He should have took Loma up on his offer and fought anyway. Missed out on Half a mil for what?

I think Walters is a very good fighter, I haven't seen most of those 130lbs fighters you mentioned though. Salido and Martinez are the only two I've seen fight numerous times before. I've heard the others names mentioned and might have seen limited footage of some of them. I know Uchiyama is meant to be very good. The funny thing is on that ridiculously biased and comical Lomacheno vs Walters Tale of the Tape those clowns Boxing, Beats & Rhymes did, the one where Walters outscored Loma in every category bar one, they said Walters had a better chin than Loma despite the fact that he has been dropped twice and Loma has never been off his feet once. I wonder how Walters' chin will stand up to shots of punchers closer to his own size? :think

That's what I'm basing my gloomy prediction for him at SFW on, I don't think he's going to take a punch very well, and Miura, Uchiyama and Vargas are murderous punchers, literally they're as close to killers in a division that you're going to get.

Have you seen Miura-Vargas? Or Miura-Uchiyama? If you haven't...watch them, especially the first one.:scaredas::scaredas::scaredas::scaredas:

It's probably the biggest duck I've seen since I started watching boxing. Loma made a huge concession by accepting the fight at 130. Probably Walters has a good enough boxing IQ to understand that Loma footwork is all wrong for him. He was still a very live underdog in that fight.
