Boxed Ears wanted me to post this if I ever came around to making it. Recently saw the Locche vs Fuji fight and I was inspired. It's hard to find some good quality of Locche footage... luckily I got a hold of that Fuji fight in pretty decent quality. Enjoy...

Thanks a lot Boxed Ears. I wish the quality was better, though. I knew the music was perfect (And had it in mind before I even started)... was tough to edit to though.

I liked the music...what was it? The video itself was great as well...it went perfectly with the music. I just was on a thread about Locche...a "where do you rank him" kind of thread...and as much as composing lists takes too much out of me lately, I just let it go at saying that Locche was in my "top fifty". Actually he ranks VERY high with me. A cursory glance at his record...or "resume" if you will, and his over 100 fights..3 losses..stellar cast of opponents...he's very great fighter..a wizard of defensive boxing..and since I seem to have a couple of biases...one for Argentine fighters and another for defensive artists..Locche rates up there in the clouds with a countryman of his, Carlos Monzon..but as to putting together a list, let me just pout it as my British friends on this forum would say it..at this time "I can't be arsed".

    Thanks a lot Red Cobra.

The music is Anno Domini - Green Flowers.

Locche is so masterful defensively... it's I imagine just like watching Jesus walk on water. That's how amazing it is. And the fact he didn't have much power at all, nor was he exceptionally fast just adds to the fact. In my opinion he's the best pure defensive fighter ever. You can make a case for Whitaker or Pep, but they had a lot more in their tool kits.

I also have a biased-ness for Locche because he was not only a defensive specialist, but one of Italian descent.

I can only describe watching Locche as awe-inspiring.

Makes Mayweather look easy to hit, yet another great fighter who gets overlooked far to often.

    Bump

Reason for bumping: I can, because I'm powerful here.

    I appreciate that power.

I was in the P4P Profiles thread in general and I saw the Duran section. Man, that really inspired me. I should do one of him soon.

You got any ideas/requests in the mean time? I might as well ask...

Great fighter. Amazing defense. Like a latter day Willie Pep.

Just think if he had more punching power!

I'm becoming really fascinated by Locche..something unreal about him..his being somewhat "outside the box" ad flouting and disregarding the standards of the game, like Monzon did..their smoking..this is the Argentine phenomenon that has always gotten me.
