I don't know much about Nico as a man. His fight with the Japanese fighter Paul is in my top 20 (10 maybe) fights ever. Astonishing fighter to me- anyways how did he fare I know he didn't live very long (66) and he boxed from about 9 onwards I imagine it took it's toll even on the untouchable one but I can't find much on Nico or whether he was punch drunk or what...

Locche fascinates me too...one of my very favorite fighters...and his title winning bout with Fuji is for me, perhaps the most esthetically satisfying contest that I've ever seen...and the most masterful "ownage"..by far.
However,..... by not being a Spanish speaker, I can't understand the various articles on the net that I find about him. Plenty of stuff out there concerning his post-boxing life, but it seems to be confined to Spanish speakers.

There’s at least one book on him. Can always find a translator at a good price on someone like Upwork.
