Just wondering how you guys reckon Locche's master defense would go against the raw speed and athletic ability of Judah.

Locche would make him look foolish. Locche is an all time great at 140; Judah is merely a "what could have been". Locche only last towards the very end of his career.

Uncompetitive fight after a few rounds in. Judah would tire mentally and physically from missing and then get countered and eventually worked over.

    Locche 10 rounds to 2.

I think a very interesting matchup would be Locche vs Benitez. Two defensive genuises doing their work. It would have been simply phenomenal.

Judah has great talent, But he just can't seem to sustain it for an entire bout. If he finished a bout as strongly as he starts one he would then be something truley special.

Judah UD 7-5 - Judah does very well against defensive fighters who stand off him such as Mayweather (who he arguably pushed closer than anyone has), Spinks (who he ko'd and lost a controversal fight to), Witter (who he bullied somewhat). Because of his accuracy, speed and power he does very well against this type of fighter.

Loche did not have the greatest of workrates himself and when the pace is slowed Judah is very much at home. Loche also doesn't have equalising power to take advantage of Judahs chin. Judah has the better jab and handspeed. Loche the superior defense, countering and mental strength.

I see Judah's speed, energy and pressure take the early rounds, winning 4-2 in the first 6, I see judah slowing in the second half and Loche would start to time and counter Judah but Judah manages to take rounds with his his stylistic advantages, the second half of the fight they draw 3-3

I think most here havent seen early Judah fights, he had a high workrate that he carried into the late rounds against Witter for instance

Hardly the most ludicrous, where we have a post by 'Sweetscientist' that claims Loche is easily outperforming Mayweather, Spinks, Cotto, Witter.

Care to attempt a re-buttal, or do you prefer to make smileys?

Agree with Powerpuncher's assessment.......It's a good style matchup for Judah. A coin flip for Judah at the worst.

I don't think Cotto, Spinks or Witter are remotely as good as Locche.Witter isn't a good fighter period imo.The other two are among the worst Welterweight champions of all-time, as is Judah who lost the title to Baldomir for gods sake.Almost all of the Welter champions since the Mosley DLH days have been second-tier fighters really.

The mayweather fight is about the only evidence i can see being used to bolster zab's case.

Loche would win a decision over Judah. Not only was Loche as hard to hit as the lottery, he had a granite jaw also. I see Zab starting fast like he always does, but fading badly as the fight goes on, as he becomes fatigued from all the missed punches he would throw, not to mention the frustration that would set in as a result. Loche in a lopsided decision.

Loche's opposition on paper looks pretty weak, how many ranked opponents has he faced? How many greats? It seems weak overall opposition, he didn't unify or win belts in multiple division and he wasnt at the very top for long.

The point is all those fighters have similar styles to Loche and for the most part had tougher opposition

So lets looks at what they achieved:

Spinks - unbeaten until, Champion at 147, 154 and Robbed against Taylor for the middleweight crown. Beat top guys like Karmazin, Mayorga. Very hard to hit, great jab and movement.

Witter - avoided by Hatton and Mayweather. Won the WBC after being avoided for years and has wins over 4champions.

Cotto - Allot better comp than Loche - Mosley, Judah and a heap of ranked opponents

Mayweather I won't even go into, hes simply a league above Loche
