Of course he's actually a kickboxer, wich you can expect from a Dutch guy. And probably won't be a great boxer because his legs are his main weapon wich you can't use in boxing.

Funfact: The guy is from Helmond, wich litterally means Hellmouth. :thedevil1 So he must be tough.

Here he is beating the quite good Yoann Kongolo, also a guy that's transitioned well to boxing, in an MMA fight about two years ago.

His record in MMA is 90-14-0-1 NC (56 KO's, 4 KO losses). One of them can be forgiven, it was from a flying knee to the head.

What do the other three K.O's tell us then? Any footage?

Would have been nice if your man, Mock, had got a shot, but this guy seems like a potential dark horse.

The one against Alviar worries me, although he must've learned from it. And these are lighter gloves, a and he shockingly goy back up from it and was on quasi steady legs.

    About 16 Minutes in.

Can't find the other two, they were in his first year as a pro, so take them with a grain of salt.

Stopping Polyakov is actually pretty impressive, Polyakov is very tough. He also has some decent wins, beat (former titleholder!!) De Carolis and was arguably robbed against Haertel.

yes, i was pretty shocked when i saw it on boxrec. stopping polyakov is quiete something. polyakov recently beat former de carolis in italy........that alone says something!! and he wasnt "arguably robbed" vs haertel. the decision was a complete disgrace.....polyakov won easily. and dont Forget, that bout was one of the alternate bouts!!

i have been a great fan of holzken for years. as a kickboxer, his strength was always his boxing. he truely represented dutch style kickboxing......which is basically conventional boxing with low kicks. he has power in both Hands and is a terrific Body Puncher.
could be a much better figth than most People expect.

I was thinking there aren't many good Dutch boxers but isn't the great Deontay Wilder from the Netherlands ?
