Nope, but good luck to him.

He can’t jump from the level of boxer he’s been competing agsinst to someone like Smith, who is more experienced against better quality opposition as a pro, and has a strong amateur background.

    All in one weeks notice.

the dutch are one of the greatest fighting nations in the world. they have produced the greatest kickboxers of all time....Peter aerts, semmy schild, remy bonjawski, Ernesto hoost, Andy souwer, albert kraus, Ramon deckers, badra hari, rico verhouven....just to Name a few.

they have created their very own style of kickboxing and they were the first to beat Thai fighters at their own game.

It's too early for him to beat someone like Callum Smith. He needed another 10 or so fights before getting in with world level, it's way too early. He'll get smashed by Callum Smith, but I'm sure he'll go down trying. Close fight for the first 3 or 4 rounds, then Callum picks him apart with TKO mid rounds.

Holzken seemed burned out on kickboxing long career!!!

At least Holzken is natural to 168, rob brant and Jaime Cox should not be fighting at 168 LOL!!! They only moved up for the money, they're moving back down both said in interviews.

These Glory guys Show up for these big fights where everything is on the line. Holzken will go out on his shield no doubt. I like Braehmer but that guy was gonna stink out the joint

Yeah, there was a time in the late 90s/early 2000s when they were just ridiculously dominant in the kickboxing world. Aerts, Hoost, Kaman, Dekkers, all those dudes were bad to the bone. I never really became a fan of Schilt, but there was no denying he was a legendary fighter as well. Bonjasky was cool, though a bit of an overachiever. Souwer and Kraus were excellent at the lower weights, Souwer especially, despite his loss to Kraus early in his career.

Even second-tier guys like Venetiaan and Van Dams were tough as hell (Venetiaan actually beat Bonjasky). Rene Rooze was also a legit badass. Anyone remember him?

Not true most Dutch MT guy’s main weapon is their fists...hence the slightly different catergory of “Dutch MT” compared to regular Thai MT which is more balanced.

Anyway the guys a warrior, he’ll come to fight and it’ll be entertaining while it lasts. He’s had a dream opportunity come his way...I reckon he’ll do the best he can with it, he’s a smart, ambitious elite fighter all the best to him.
