Would we see competitive fights or walkovers?

I might be biased mate, but I think both the elders win here.
The Eubank Jr Benn fight tho could be quite entertaining.
I see Eubank Snr stopping Benn jnr or points Dec.
Benn snr Vs Eubank jnr, close exciting fight, but Nigel gets a decision.

    Hi Fergy

I agree with your assessments mate. The elders would definitely have the upper hand here.

A knockout win for both fathers. No question. Just because the two sons put on a competitive fight last week, doesn't mean they have the high level of skill (or power) as their fathers.

Nigel Benn (1990) vs Chris Eubank Jr (2025):
This one’s pretty straightforward. Nigel Benn in 1990 was a savage, relentless, powerful and dangerous from the opening bell. He wasn’t the most technically refined, but he had that raw explosiveness and killer instinct that’s hard to deal with, especially for someone who can be a bit flat-footed or hesitant.

Eubank Jr today is still fit and tough, but let’s be honest, he’s never reached world level. He looked solid against Conor Benn, but not special. He won because he’s naturally bigger and more experienced, not because he dominated. And when he’s put under pressure, his output drops and he tends to just cover up or rely on athleticism rather than adapt.

Benn would come at him with serious pressure and wouldn’t give him the space to set up those flashy uppercuts or pose. Eubank Jr would try to fight back and he might last a while, he’s got a solid chin, but sooner or later Benn would overwhelm him. He doesn’t have the boxing brain or jab to keep Benn honest.

Conor Benn (2025) vs Chris Eubank Sr (1990):
This one’s a tougher sell for Conor. He gave a decent account of himself against Jr, but ultimately got outboxed over the distance. He still hasn’t beaten a legit world-level opponent and he’s really a welterweight.

Eubank Sr in 1990 was a nightmare to fight. Awkward, smart and incredibly tough. He wasn’t always exciting, but he had brilliant timing, could take a shot and he knew how to manage a fight. Conor’s aggression might cause problems early, but Eubank would figure him out, slow things down and start timing him coming in.

Conor just doesn’t have the experience or the ring IQ to outsmart Eubank Sr over 12 rounds and he doesn’t have the kind of power that would trouble him either.

I don’t care for Nigel Benn much, don’t watch him, don’t enjoy his fights. Eubank Snr would man handle Conor “Eggs Benedict” Benn seriously he was a big LHW peeled to the bone they’re like 6 modern weight classes apart he wasn’t KO’d by Carl Thompson who was a peeled down HW they duked it out hard - CE won’t even feel Egg-man hitting him, he’d just beat him into submission by about the 6 or 7th round it’d be one sided… unless you force Eubank to fight the scales any harder.

There's no way that Chris Jr. could take the punishment from Nigel Benn that his dad did. And Chris the elder would n't have been weight weakened against Conor. He did move up to super-middle but in 1990 he made 160lb quite comfortably. He would also hit Conor more cleanly and often that his son did.
