I don't see why

With Eubank it was different cos of the needle which seemed to carry even over recent years

Apart from these two fighting before and Benn loosing there not publicly known for a great rivalry

 

I think you,d be surprised at how many buys that fight attracts as part of a card. As a stand alone ppv fight...its not doing much. But your not telling me guys that have spent years watching these guys back in the 90,s wouldnt watch it as part of a card. I know for one i d be interested if it was on an undercard. Lets be honest lots will complain about it but most will probably watch it if theres something bigger there to attract them to it in the first place.

People go on about safety but its not like there sticking one of them in with joshua or that. Two very experienced ex pro,s....that have kept in shape etc. More chance of something going wrong against one of these latvians that get shipped in to fight the next star.

 

Let's be fair. If you put Benn v Collins (or Eubank sr) on a card that also had Haye v Bellew II and a Chisora v Whyte II or possibly a Luke Campbell title fight, it could potentially be one of the best cards Hearn has done.

 

We'll have to agree to disagree on this one boss. Thankfully even fast car Hearn has already distanced himself away from getting involved in this freak show. Personaly I don't think Adam Smith would sign off on it from skys side anyway even if Hearn would entertain this nonsense. All talk of this will all soon die down now

 

Exactly. Same happened with Haye v Bellew before. People saying it shouldn't be sanctioned , should never be PPV etc......
