I haven't heard of Harley Benn or this new plot twist.
So, from the comments on here I'm guessing it's all a bit like that film Creed ....... except Nigel aint dead and he's got a boxer son already (thank you very much) and it aint all happy families ??

As for Nigel coming back, please please no.
He's 50-something and looked shot to **** and quit with a twisted ankle last time we saw him in a ring ..... that was 21 years ago !

    He isn't coming back.... Lol

I had to laugh at him saying he's in better shape now than ever... Late mid life crisis?

He's not back on the sniff, is he?

I doubt he would have a problem getting an aussie licence. Not traditionally the highest criteria. Wasn't old Joe still using his till he was 73? :p

Benn was a very vivacious and dirty little man in his time.and after fufilling all his deep carnal desires ...the only desire he had left was to die....even that he ff****ed up..he found jesus and is now a happy go lucky money hungry jigalo with properties to this day.in 5 years harley will be the big man capable of knocking out benn and his poodle connor ,right now the old dog is still too strong.too fast and vicious power he has stayed in shape he seems more 48 than 53...but i would love to see a nigel benn-harley benn boxing match in two years time it would be a fair matchup at that point....father v son with lisa and her big titties at ringside...pure heaven

It's all quite sad really and it's a shame that it's all been done in public now like a morning talk show. It seems apparent to me that Harley wants his Dad's acceptance of who he is (hence the name) but at the same time, he has a fierce loyalty towards his mum. The lad is only young and he's confused and a little pulled apart. In the interview Nigel let himself down a bit when he brought the surname thing up...in my opinion, his best response was just to leave it at 'I love my son and I'm here if he needs me and I respect whatever he chooses to do'.

On the boxing side of it, Harley's first fight was much like Conor's where he set out to stop him quickly. There was a lack of discipline and ring intelligence but that will gradually come but considering he has no amateur career, he could go on to try and aim for a regional belt and perhaps even a crack at a domestic title in a few years. Same for Conor. One's fighting at Welter, the other at middle and to be honest I'd find it very sad if they fought each other and I don't think Nigel would allow it to happen anyway.

Another Benn Comeback, fcuk me pretty soon it will be something similar to an evening with Bernard Manning, after he died.

At the end of the day, Benn lived the life and put 2 fingers up to what he may have left behind.

Now what he left behind is back, and he certainly doesn't like it.
He came across very dismissive of his other son, something this young man has probably felt all his life.

However entertaining that interview was, washing your family dirty linen in public is never a good look.

It seems that Harley has the biggest issues and thats because his mum has brainwashed him into hating his own father. This is standard stuff with a single mother, who has had some casual and kept the kid. Its always the fathers fault that she had some fun with a player, got knocked up and had the kid. Its always that all men are bad, rather than her choice in "bad men".

Yet then he uses his fathers name, which is kind of confused.

Conor is clearly the better fighter. I dont see Harley getting that far

I think Harley has every right to use his old mans name , if it helps him create a bit of interest in his fights and secures deals, why not ?
