What do you lot think about nigel benn being hyponotised in the fight against g-man. because on the way out to the changing rooms he did loose consciousness, and people say thats when the trance broke.

i heard about it at he time, but still think it was a load of ****,

but if it was true would it be classed as cheating,

did Steve Collins not try the same thing on Eubank

well paul mc cenna or som1 did perform a hypnosis thing on benn before the fight. that was big news back in the day i remember. but the question is that did it work or not?

i mean g-man was the type of fighter hu would finish u in the first round. which he nearly did to benn by knocking him out of the ring.

Some say this is when the hypnosis kicked in, and made Benn get up again and destroy g-man the way he did.

I dont know if i believe this, but this is the most shocking and dangerous fight i can remember

Yes, but why would anyone let yourself get hypnotized in the first place. What I dont understand if it is true is did he consent?

what happened was is Benn was terriefied of facing g-man because of his punching power,so he was asked to be hypnotised to believe in himself. believe that he can do well and beat g-man.

turns out people say that he couldn't feel pain anymore in the fight etc. and destroyed g-man in great confidence. he actually thanked paul mc kenna for the hypnosis on a TV program later.

sounds like a load of garbage, Benn looked like he always did, in shape and ready to rumble. He just had Geralds number that night and wasn't going to be denied victory. Benn's like a wounded Tiger, the more hurt he was, the more dangerous he'd become... just looked like typical Benn

Benn thanked Mckenna after the fight, he definitely WAS hypnotized - but Collins just PRETENDED to be hypnotized to get inside Eubanks head. He also confirmed this in the post-fight interview. I think Mckenna also worked with Bruno before the McCall fight.

Maybe Hatton should give him a call.

Sports Hypnosis has been used for a long time -----one of ESB'S regular writers needs to do a reseached article for us----remember there are different levels of hypnosis---auto suggestion, the start, is a low level done by youself just as an example -- I think that you are going to find that it would have to be seen as an accepted sport enhancing practice,,,:smoke :smoke
