Does the dark destroyer belong in the hall of fame? He was a 2 weight world champ, and holds impressive wins over McClellan, Barkley and Malinga. An absolute beast in his heyday, and one of the hardest punchers ever. Also had a very entertaining, explosive style and was involved in some legendary fights, such as Eubank, McClellan etc

    I say yes.

    Of course yes !

The fights with Eubank , Collins and MacClellan are enough on their own.

A TRUE lion heart ! :good

Me. Nigel was fun to watch, but his record , instead of a "whos who" of the super middleweight division is more like a "whos he?" Losses to guys like Michael Watson, Thulani Malinga, and Steve Collins don't help the cause.Benn just isn't special enough to qualify .

Well thats a black and white way of seeing it, but seeing his epic wars with Eubank and McClellan, and the incredible heart and courage he showed in those fights gets him in in my opinion.

Michael Watson...A Who's He? Why don't you watch the fight with Benn it was a brutal war, plus Watson beat the crap outta of Eubank until Chris pulled out a punch of a lifetime and sent Michael into a coma.

Problem with these guys is that just because some of the fighters Benn fought didnt have too much american exposure, its a case of whos he?

Benn has done more than the likes of Pipino cuevas ever did.

Yes but McGuigan isn't there on his in the ring achievements alone he's there on what his achievements caused in Ireland .

Nevertheless I feel Benn is deserving of a place .

HOF? Easily! There is no argument against inclusion that stands up to close scrutiny.

hell no because he was never one of the pound for pound elite. Benn has his fans because he is a british darling and was very exciting, but watson and eubank knocked him out and even when he upset mcclellan he lost his next three fights and retired.
