Benn more skilled and polished but Lalonde has that righthand that if he lands one good it could be over for Benn.
Lalonde was less skilled but that righthand was a major weapon.

Benn came back from GMAN`S best shots, Lalonde couldn`t take Leonard`s power.

41 mate. I can't believe it's been 12 years. We'd never met but planned a meet up when Everton played Villa next, as mentioned...

The fixtures were out the same day as this and I sent him a message about the fact that the fixture we chatted about was one of the first of the season. I didn't hear back obviously, and it wasn't until a couple of week later, a mate of his joined ESB to tell the Lounge about this sad news. Top lad.

Lalonde vs 1949 Ezzard Charles would be quite a fight

Nowhere near Jake Lamotta`s level who might have even beaten him at 175.

Stewart fought Marvin Johnson twice. He had enough experience against crude, aggressive southpaws to know how to fight them. Nothing but a good chin or some of Ali's "punch conditioning" is gonna help you take some repeated Lalonde right hands over and over.
