Pick your peak version for both at 160. They both fought with ferocity and at times great skill. I have seen less Turpin than Benn but from what I have read and seen he was my kind of fighter when he was "on". Benn is just flat-out one of my personal faves, every molecule a fighter, an exciting performer and a guy I would love to have some beers with.

Who you got and how does this play out over 15 rounds?

Inspired by your giff of Turpin and the very Benn-like ferocity in his attack.

Yeah that's what makes this tough.
Both aggressive heavy handed fighters who could feast on lower opponents but could also box with skilled fighters.
I think Turpin had heavier hands, Benn had quicker and sharper punches. Would be an explosive clash.

Don't want to call it too soon, need to watch more footage.

First off, massive fan of Benn myself. Followed the guy from logan right through to Collins. I know a little of turpin and it is a little. But I'm going for randy. I don't see Benn actually beating Robinson, the same version that turpin beat. I believe he would have thrown everything at ray but eventually been stopped in the 9 th or roundabout. So I believe turpin had a stronger punch resistant, he'll take Benn s fast lethal blows better than Benn takes his. After a absolute sizzling, ferocious fight of at least 6 round s, where turpin will have been hurt several times, Randy catches a tiring nigel and knocks him almost unconscious.

Extremely hard to evaluate Turpin he was so inconsistent , he lost to men he shouldn't have and beat SRR!That version of Robinson hadn't been living the life of a boxer though.
Turpin was almost wilfully self destructive and childlike in some ways.On paper he should have beaten Olson and regained the title it was a pretty poor crop in that 4 man tourney and he should have emerged as the champ but distractions with p*ssy,[ always his Achilles heel ,] led him down the wrong path. I never understood how ,looking at him he could make 160lbs ,bit like Griffith making147lbs!Too many imponderables for me to reach a conclusion here.

Turpin was floored multiple times by average fighters.

    Turbin by comfortable decision

Benn highly overratet at 160 lbs.

He had a kamakazie style but without the chin to back it up.

Turpin, like Watson, keeps his cool then accelerates in the mid rounds and punishes a gassing Benn. Benn's heart keeps him up but he loses a wide UD.

    So was Benn.

Anthony Logan had him badly staggered.

    Turpin should win this.
Benn always has a puncher's chance.
