When was this? Must be the very twilight of durans career.

 

How olds Duran there you reckon?

Benn looks like the singer out of Cameo 'Word up'

 

Duran would have bee late 30s maybe even early 40's. I think the spar took place when Duran came over to do that after dinner speaking tour (late 80s/ early 90s IIRC).

 

I don't think Benn relocated to the USA Flint, he just went over there for a few fights.

 

duran is taking the **** in this session, hes only operating at about 65% when he was in there

seems like hes helping benn, still you can tell benn is a serious man

 

I can remember seeing Duran sparring with Rocky Balboa in Rocky II.

 

great vid,you can see duran letting benn work a few moves out.excellent tutoring for benn at that time.

 

This was streight after duran beat barkley i think, that version of duran would have given benn many problems he would have likely destroyed most the middle weights 2day like that joker kelly pavlik

i was just thinkin that myself. at the end with duran its ****ed up, he looks like a middle aged man who ud see in the pub but his footwork, head movement, coordination and bounce make it seem ridiculous. like one of those fake ads

 

i though those feet were pretty special too:good

 

Should see Duran work the speed bag with his head, incredible.
